I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Vinay Sir in Higher education department for 3 months as Assistant Secretary.He is one of the most humane officers I have met. His lively personality, his sense of humour,his humility and down to earth attitude strikes a cord with anyone instantly.He invited us home for dinner and made us feel so special .He shared his stories from Assam.He was truly very fond of the North eastern region.It is indeed very sad that he is not with us anymore but his memories shall always live with us. may his soul RIP.
