Landed up on this page accidentally through Twitter. It is shocking to learn that Sir has left this world so early. I am an IAS officer of 2013 batch serving in MP cadre. We were the first batch to get posting as assistant secretaries in various ministries in GoI. I was lucky to be posted with Sir in MHRD. We had a very brief interaction with him, but I fondly remember him telling his stories of early days in the service and how he used to take elephant rides to remote areas, as they were the only safe ride then. It is amazing that a very brief interaction with him left an impression on me. His quick wit humour and caring personality really left a lasting impression on a young officer like me. May his soul rest in peace. |
